1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide to Us
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name and email address. You may optionally provide additional profile details.
User-Generated Content: Comics, prompts, captions, comments, and messages you create or send through the Service are stored on our platform. When you choose to publish a comic, it becomes visible to other users on the discovery feed.
Communications: If you contact us for support or other inquiries, we retain records of that correspondence.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited, features used, comics created or viewed, and actions taken (e.g., likes, bookmarks).
Device and Log Data: We may collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and other technical information when you access the Service.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and analyze usage patterns. See Section 6 for more details.
1.3 Payment Information
Payments for creator bundles are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card or bank account details. Stripe may collect and process your payment information subject to their own privacy policy, available at stripe.com.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate your access.
- Provide, operate, and improve the ComicKnit platform and its features.
- Process payments and manage your subscription or bundle credits.
- Display your published comics on the community discovery feed.
- Enable community interactions such as comments, likes, and bookmarks.
- Send you transactional emails, such as account confirmations, payment receipts, and service notices.
- Send you optional product updates and newsletters (you may opt out at any time).
- Monitor for and enforce compliance with our Terms of Use and content policies.
- Analyze usage trends to improve our products and develop new features.
- Respond to your support requests and communications.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. AI Generation and Third-Party Services
ComicKnit uses third-party AI services to generate comic content based on your prompts and inputs. When you use AI generation features, the prompts and inputs you provide may be transmitted to these third-party providers for processing. We do not currently identify our AI service providers by name in this policy, but we take steps to ensure our use of such services aligns with applicable data protection standards.
We may also use third-party services for analytics, hosting, customer support, and other operational purposes. These providers are contractually bound to use your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own independent purposes.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Community Features: Content you choose to publish, as well as your username and public profile, will be visible to other users of the Service.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Airmeet Inc., our users, or the public.
Business Transfers: If Airmeet Inc. undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance of any such change.
With Your Consent: We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
ComicKnit is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at legal@airmeet.com, and we will take steps to delete such information and close the account.
If you are between 13 and 18, your parent or guardian must have reviewed and agreed to these practices on your behalf.

- Published Comics: Comics you have published to the community discovery feed may remain visible after account deletion. If you wish to remove published comics, please do so before submitting your deletion request.
- Legal Obligations: We may retain certain data for longer periods as required by law, such as for tax, audit, or fraud prevention purposes.
- Backup Systems: Copies of data may persist in backup storage for a limited period following deletion.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access and Portability: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to the exceptions noted in Section 7.
